1.6.1 Moving the 3D Cursor

The 3D Cursor is important for several different types of tasks related to

modeling and manipulating objects, and you must know how to move it

around. You can easily set the location of your 3D Cursor using the

mouse.

Hold down the SHIFT key and right-click anywhere in your 3D Viewport

to set a new 3D Cursor location. There is even an option at the 3D

Viewport Toolbar that will enable you to left-click without the SHIFT key

to set a new location for the 3D Cursor (Figure 1.19).

Even with those options to quickly move your 3D Cursor using the

mouse, you will probably want to have more control over the cursor
